How does the money
raised help our Unit?
The money
raised is used to purchase new
equipment for camping trips,
uniforms, handbooks, charter
renewal fees, transportation
fees and most of all Summer
Camp 2008. Summer Camp alone
costs each scout over $200 and
many of them come from
low-income families that can
not afford to expend. Our
event helps raise the money to
help defray the cost of
attending summer camp and that
is our goal among many more.
